The Phyllis Siperstein Tamarisk Assisted Living Residence is a community of Jewish Collaborative Services, a full-spectrum senior housing and social services agency serving Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts communities.

The Tamarisk tree has long been a symbol of hospitality dating back to biblical times in the land of Israel. Consistent with its quest to enrich the quality of life for older adults and their families, Jewish Seniors Agency of Rhode Island has chosen Tamarisk as the name of its unique assisted living residence. It is in the spirit of this desert tree that Tamarisk is a symbol of Hospitality, making all who come here feel welcomed, comforted and protected.
