Life Enrichment at Tamarisk

At Tamarisk, we are committed to meeting your intellectual, creative, and spiritual needs for social engagement. When you are a part of our community, all of life’s pleasures are everyday happenings. With so many things to do your opportunities are boundless. Click here to see a sample Life Enrichment Calendar.

Fitness
At Tamarisk we take a holistic approach to your health and well-being. We believe that good physical health is key to enjoying all the wonderful activities that we offer. We have created a Fitness Program that will help you to maintain and develop flexibility, balance and strength.  Click here to see a sample Fitness Calendar.

Lifelong Learning
We believe that everyday is a day to learn something new. Intellectual development is a never-ending process and at Tamarisk, you will find a wide variety of options that will allow you to sharpen your intellect and hone your skills.

Creative Expression
If you love the arts, but never had the time to explore your creative side, you will be delighted to know that Tamarisk offers you many opportunities for self-expression or to be entertained.  Our residents take advantage of Painting & Ceramics Classes, sitting in our Knitting Circle, In-House Music Performances, and Movies, as well as Concert, Theater, and Museum Outings.

Spiritual Life

Tradition is very important at Tamarisk. While Tamarisk is non-sectarian, we are guided by Jewish tradition and provide many opportunities for our residents to enjoy a rich spiritual life. We offer our residents Shabbat and Holiday Services, Weekly Bible Study, and Discussions led by local clergy.

Of course, this is just a sampling of the many things that are happening at Tamarisk. The best part is that you get to choose what you want to do.  And, being resident-focused, if there is something that you are interested in doing, we will work with you to make sure you have the chance to do it.
